The Drive is the perfect balance of the most sought-after genres. Intrigue, mystery, sci-fi, supernatural. The Drive brings back the descriptive narrative literary format in a whole new modern package. Quite simply a great book. Rich characters, an amazing storyline and some of the most awesome reveals imaginable. The Drive promotes rich traditional morals and family values. No profanity, clean dialogues and a detail-rich picturesque journey.
The Drive was specially written for all the hard-working parents out there. Over-worked, over-taxed, yet thriving to provide a better future for our children. Never has there been a more fitting definition for a hero.
If you’re looking for a more modern version of the X-Files, a more parent-oriented version of Marvel Comics or an enhanced Indiana Jones, you won’t be disappointed.
Discover this Chapter, that will teach you the power of positive energy and remind you there is a Divine beauty and purpose in everything, even when we don’t see it. The Drive was inspired by how the scriptures seem to always account for the events revealed in The Astral Plane. But the relation to the scriptures would need to remain congregation-agnostic. For that’s when they are most intriguing and fascinating.
Simple story, healthy-living, well-being and self-analysis, deeper spiritual journey, or a modern-day Bible Chapter…
We will let each reader decide. If you appreciate, tell your friends.
We believe if The Drive was meant to have a positive impact on you, then we are confident it will reach you, some how...
The book is dedicated to my amazing Father and the Princess of my heart, my Daughter.
Dad, Mandy, you’re the REAL Drive behind this project and I couldn’t have done it without you.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart and God bless.

The Drive receives awesome UNIQUE review from Reader’s Choice Book Awards.
If you have read The Drive, you’re aware how difficult it is to label or categorize…
M. Lorenz, the author, defines it as:
‘Some form of Theologically-referenced, Super-Natural, Meta-Human, Multi-dimension, Tactical-Ops intrigue, anchored around historical legends, facts and sites, and including integrated health and fitness pointers.’
But then again, as an Engineer, the author has been perfecting the art of delivering high-tech specifications throughout his entire illustrious career.
To the reader, The Drive is a picturesque, detail-rich, action-packed adventure, and simply a blast to read.
A statement now officially confirmed by the renowned Reader’s Choice Book Awards.
This is a unique and imaginative sci-fi and action-adventure novel, […] mystery and a touch of romance. Overall, this is an interesting concept, […] there is plenty of action, there are large amounts of description and dialogue[…].
The book crosses several genres (science-fiction, religion, the occult, romance, WWII) […].
The author is quite simply in awe of the acclaimed critic’s review and was proud to deliver the following statement:
‘Based on the critic’s review, and all the collected reader comments, The Drive is quite simply put, an elite Tactical-Ops Strike, delivered on target, with surgical precision. I couldn’t be more proud.’
On a lighter note, M. Lorenz smiled as he especially appreciated the nostalgia brought about the critic’s, suspense-building summary for his novel, The Drive. Served in a true ‘vintage Bat-Man’ Detective Comics-referenced fashion, no-less.
Will Derreck and Andrea solve the mystery of the gooey slime? Will Andrea’s theory be proven? And how will Jordana respond when she learns the real truth about her parents’ mysterious past?
The fact is, The Drive is pretty much in a league of its own. Aimed at what the author calls ‘five-percenters with over-active and over-analytical minds that require NOTHING-LESS-THAN-EPIC, to be entertained’.

A gathering of praises far exceeding the author’s every expectation… and a testimony that the author’s passion for The Drive’s multi-dimension universe is spreading.
But don’t worry, this is the type of Pandemic that unites in positivity to build a better tomorrow.
The Drive’s second installment. The Journey continues. Perfecting his modern take on the descriptive narrative writing style, M. Lorenz drives us deeper in his multi-dimension universe. It’s completely different, yet, it’s still The Drive…
Or should we say it’s highly anticipated sequel.
Still a perfect balance of the most sought-after genres. Intrigue, mystery, sci-fi, supernatural. The Pledge is quite simply yet another great book. Rich characters, an amazing storyline and some of the most awesome reveals imaginable. But this stretch of M. Lorenz’ detail-rich picturesque journey is both Darker and Brighter. The author digs deeper in the past and gives an even greater homage to his ancestral roots, in a simply awesome and epic novel. Rich with ancestral culture,
M. Lorenz reveals yet another awesome twist, bridging the very essence of true life theological, mythical and political legends to The Astral Plane, and how it could all relate to our day-to-day lives.
I’m ever so proud of The Drive. It exceeded all my expectations on so many levels. Many have commented on its sophisticated writing style and elaborate plot turns. I wanted to repeat the experience, both as a writer but also for the readers. But sequels often pale in comparison to the original. The cure presented itself to me as a special challenge, make it the same, yet completely different. The Drive explored the notion of “Full Throttle”. The Pledge would therefore need to be “Nitro-Turbo-Charged”. Darker, definitely as Epic, but also more researched and giving a greater homage to my family line and what they had to endure in what are still such misunderstood times. And let my fascination for theology and eschatology take it from there. Could the scriptures account for the events shown to me in The Astral Plane ? Yet again ?
The Astral Plane began presenting me the characters and epic events in The Pledge some six weeks after The Drive hit the shelves… Exactly when I would have needed a break. But the story was too rich, too powerful and simply too epic to be contained… It just had to be written. It’s an even greater homage than The Drive to my father and the long line of Heroes before him, their culture and how they still inspire me to this day. If The Pledge could convey only one message, it would be how crucial the power of positive energy truly is. Even more so in desperate times. And how true Heroes still help us, long after their gone.
I miss you dad, I thank God everyday for each and every moment we had and all you taught me.
The Pledge comes with a warning, printed for all to see on the cover.
WARNING: Darker, More Intense, More Action Packed.
And the back cover’s last line expresses my basic intentions…
Hold on, comedic humor might help compensate for the Darker passages, but this ain’t no botched up Dog Detective sequel parody...
The Pledge had to be Darker to better Enlighten The Driven…
I just hope it succeeds in making you smile from time to time to offer a well-balanced, rich, entertaining and uplifting experience.
Oh, and of course, yet another picturesque journey with mind-twisting reveals.
The book is again dedicated to my amazing Father, the Princess of my heart, my Daughter… But this time, also my son... as well as all the readers and supporters of The Drive.
Dad, Mandy, Maximilian, you’re the REAL Drive behind this project and I couldn’t have done it without you.
